FNB Backs Cape Town’s Luxury Future with R1 Billion Investment in The Paradigm Development
First National Bank (FNB) has secured a landmark R1 billion funding agreement for The Paradigm, a prestigious new mixed-use residential development set to reshape the skyline of Cape Town.
Strategically located at 100 Buitengracht Street in the heart of the city, The Paradigm will introduce 240 premium residences, combining contemporary architecture, sweeping city and ocean views, and a carefully curated lifestyle offering in one of Cape Town’s most sought-after urban precincts.
According to Preggie Pillay, Cape Town continues to stand out as one of South Africa’s most attractive property markets, underpinned by consistent demand, strong investment appeal, and a globally recognised lifestyle. He notes that The Paradigm aligns perfectly with these dynamics, offering a well-positioned and thoughtfully designed product tailored to modern buyers.

Construction on the development began in November 2024, led by Vantage Property in partnership with Tiber Construction. The project has been designed by dhk Architects in collaboration with Fabian Architects, with completion anticipated in the third quarter of 2027.
