
Pretoria — Boxing South Africa proudly welcomes home Bernice Ferreira, South Africa’s newest world champion and the first African female boxer to win a WBC World Title.
Ferreira’s historic achievement marks a significant moment for South African and African boxing. Her victory not only adds another proud chapter to the country’s boxing history, but also serves as an inspiration to women and young girls pursuing careers in the sport.
As she returns home with the prestigious WBC title, Boxing South Africa is calling on the boxing fraternity and members of the public to come out in numbers and celebrate this remarkable achievement.
